Our dynamic Geomatics team is looking for a Crew Chief  in Cold Lake , AB and travel is required within the province .   As the successful candidate you are organized and highly collaborative, with strong communication skills and an infectious positivity that impacts and motivates all team members. You have a strong ability to operate equipment and field tools, with a healthy respect for the great outdoors and the timeline of the task at hand.

What you will do :

• Manage and perform field survey work with the support of Survey Assistants.
• Liaise with Project Managers to coordinate field survey work, review and manage project budgets, schedules, priorities, and survey methodology.
• Liaise with client field representatives and landowners and be a brand ambassador for GeoVerra.
• Prepare field notes, sketches, checklists, and digital data in required formats for different audiences.
• Provide guidance, training and mentorship to Survey Assistants.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of industry best practices, efficient field processes and procedures and the innovative use of new technology.
• Proactively participate in and support the GeoVerra safety program.
• Complete office technical survey tasks as required and other duties as assigned.
