The Opportunity
A well-established, mid-sized Toronto law firm is seeking a Securities Associate (2–5 years of experience) to join its growing team. This firm is known for its strong reputation in the business law market and its collaborative, supportive, and client-focused culture.
The successful candidate will work closely with experienced partners on a wide range of securities and capital markets matters while benefiting from strong mentorship and meaningful responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on public and private securities offerings and regulatory compliance
Assist with continuous disclosure obligations and securities filings
Support mergers, acquisitions, and corporate finance transactions
Draft prospectuses, offering memoranda, and related documentation
Liaise with regulators, underwriters, and institutional clients
Provide strategic advice on corporate governance and disclosure matters

Requirements
2–5 years of securities and / or capital markets experience
Called to the Ontario Bar and in good standing
Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage files independently while collaborating with team members
Client-focused and commercially minded approach
Compensation & Work Environment
Base salary range roughly : $150,000–$230,000 , commensurate with experience
Bay Street–competitive compensation structure
Hybrid work model
Target of approximately 1,800 billable hours
