JOB TITLE : WMS & Equipment Technician

SHIFT : 3 : 00 pm to 11 : 00 pm ; Mon to Fri

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Maintenance Technician is responsible to ensure the proper electromechanical functioning of the logistics equipment the necessary corrective and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Carry out the preventive maintenance tasks to keep the Handheld Devices (PDAs), Robots (AGVs), in best operating conditions.
  • Read, understand and train according to the technical documents of the equipment.
  • Complete workorders with proper documentation
  • Provide high levels of equipment availability such as PDAs to our internal customers.
  • Maintain the inventory records for supplies.
  • React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected stakeholders and work efficiently to fix the issue, minimizing downtime.
  • Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements.
  • Propose actions to improve the performance of PDA’s / Robots and other machines, in terms of productivity, security or organization
  • Physically inspect the newly installed PDAs, AGVs and other machines, to prevent maintainability or operating issues.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

Degree from vocational school with a focus in the Mechatronic, Electronic or Electrical fieldMulti skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines with experience in automation Minimum 5 years experience in similar positionExperience with bagging machines is desired.

Experience with robotic operation and maintenance is desired.Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Experience in interpreting mechanical, electrical and pneumatic drawings.
