Description : The Office of the Registrar at St. Mark’s College / Corpus Christi College oversees various operational aspects including admissions, financial aid, academic advising, enrollment services, course scheduling, convocation, institutional analysis, and academic policy.
The Registrar Support Officer (RSO) assists in administrative tasks under the Registrar's supervision and collaborates with other Registrar's office staff and departments within the Colleges.
Expectations and Responsibilities :
- Provides administrative support to the Registrar.
- Assists the Registrar in developing and administering surveys, collecting and analyzing various institutional data and in undertaking various registrarial projects.
- Assists the Enrolment Services in publishing the course offerings and keeps the registration system update-to-date.
- Ensures that semester information in the student information system and related publication documents are produced, posted, and maintained throughout the academic year in a timely manner.
- Assists the Registrar in coordinating special projects related to the operations of the Office of the Registrar.
- Maintains the webpages on the colleges’ websites and the student information system updated.
- Writes and prepares correspondence, reports, and other documents on behalf of the Registrar.
- Assists the Registrar in the preparation of reports, including but not limited to, accrediting bodies, government agencies, and others relevant to the operations of the office.
- Works with the different units of the office in creating, revising, and maintaining forms pertinent to the operations of the Registrar’s Office
- Other duties as assigned by the Registrar
Skills and Qualifications :
Post-secondary certification preferred (certificate, diploma, or degree); with one (1) to three (3) years of experience working in clerical settings (preferably in postsecondary institutions);
or an equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- Demonstrate extreme attention to details.
- Maintain a high level of initiative, judgement, and discretion.
- Ensure that absolute confidentiality is maintained in all matters.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work individually and collaboratively.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills; ability to multi-task.
