Dealer Advertising Coordinator

WHAT YOU WILL DO

This position will support retail marketing campaign tactics and provide dealer advertising program reporting. Exposure to Brand, Social, Events, and Sponsorship, Hockey partnership teams.

Serving as the main point of contact for the Zones and field staff, this role is integral to reinforcing our marketing guidelines to ensure consistency across the dealer network.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Dealer Advertising Program

  • Create communication drafts of the dealer advertising reimbursement program, marketing guidelines, and monthly alerts to the field staff and dealers.
  • Request Marketing Planners from the dealer network, and follow up with field staff using the online tracking system to ensure submission by deadlines.
  • Coordinate upload of all dealer monthly advertising reimbursement budgets on dealer portal and SAP.
  • Evaluate data to provide analysis, trends, and recommendations for co-op optimization.
  • Identify co-op best-in-class and underperforming dealers and communicate areas of improvement.
  • Prepare content and present findings for monthly Marketing and Zone Manager Meetings.
  • Produce and analyze co-op dashboards, budget tracking, and utilization reports for management decision-making.
  • Process monthly Dealer Advertising Association billings and circulate reports to management for approval.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors to ensure any co-op system changes are communicated.
  • Act as the main point of contact for co-op inquiries for Zone Managers and field staff.
  • Report and collaborate with the Marketing Budget Supervisor every month to report actuals and forecasts for the dealer co-op program.

General Marketing Reporting

  • Prepare the weekly marketing status report in collaboration with the Marketing team for the executive team.
  • Coordinate with Brand, Retail, Social, Hockey, Events, and Sponsorships teams to gather relevant presentation decks for the monthly zone calls with the dealer network across Canada.

Retail Marketing Support

  • Coordinate aspects of retail marketing activities to deliver digital, social, TV, website assets, print, radio, CRM retail emails, and POP collateral development and delivery in collaboration with the Retail Marketing Manager and Retail Marketing Specialist for review.
  • Track, monitor, and make recommendations for the national digital display screens for the dealer network, ensuring content is brand-compliant, relevant, and up to date.
  • Provide general department support for ad-hoc projects and reporting as required.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience in the same or similar positions.
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree preferably in Business Administration / B.Comm, Finance or related Marketing field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Tenacious, self-starter with the ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Efficient time management skills, including multi-tasking and prioritizing to meet deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism with the ability to demonstrate diplomacy and good judgment when responding to inquiries.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Ability to manipulate large data sets, demonstrate critical thinking in producing various analyses and tables, as well as develop charts / graphs in both Excel (V Lookup and Pivot Tables required) and PowerPoint.

  • Proven knowledge of financial analysis, variance analysis, and forecasting.
  • strong interest in reporting and strong analytical skills with an aptitude for numbers and accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with external key stakeholders and employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Adaptable, eager to learn new things and produce results.
  • Cultivates a strong team spirit with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
