Join to apply for the CEO and Co-Founder role at R-LABS Canada Inc. and help launch CondoCapital, a new venture developed by R-LABS to address real estate and housing challenges in Canada.

CondoCapital is a technology-driven solution that leverages algorithmic learning to deploy institutional capital to solve industry problems. This hybrid role is based in downtown Toronto.

What you will do

As CEO and Co-Founder, you will drive the company from validation through funding and commercialization, in partnership with R-LABS and an ecosystem of investors, industry experts, and real estate professionals. You will shape the business strategy, raise capital, and build a high-performing team.

As CEO & Co-Founder, you will:

• Validate and scale the business. Lead market validation, refine the business model, and drive customer and investor acquisition.
• Secure capital for growth. Develop and execute a fundraising strategy, establish relationships with investors, and ensure long-term financial positioning.
• Build a high-performing team. Recruit and oversee software engineers, sales professionals, and strategic partners to bring the platform to market.
• Develop and strengthen industry partnerships. Nurture relationships with brokers, developers, and investors to keep CondoCapital at the forefront of redevelopment innovation.
• Drive product and market expansion. Shape the platform’s evolution to meet market demand and scale effectively.
• Be the public face of the company. Represent CondoCapital at industry events, investor meetings, and strategic discussions.
• Invest in success. Post-incorporation, opportunities to invest in CondoCapital and benefit from its growth.

Who you are

You are a strategic leader and accomplished entrepreneur with a proven track record of building and exiting startups, raising capital, securing investors, and forming partnerships. Experience in technology-driven real estate or capital markets helps you hit the ground running and assemble the right ecosystem of partners.

You excel at setting a vision, motivating teams, and fostering collaboration, with meticulous planning and effective execution. Ideally, you have subject-matter experience in residential real estate investing, development financing, or raising capital for real estate funds, and a strong network among developers, institutional capital providers, data providers, and lenders.

Above all, you are passionate about shaping new iBuyer business models driven by next-generation machine learning models for asset valuation and solving industry-wide challenges.

This is a rare opportunity to launch a validated startup concept at the intersection of technology, real estate, and investment, delivering a platform that redefines how residential high-rise inventory is identified, financed, and transacted. You will help unlock liquidity, improve efficiency, and contribute to housing affordability in Canada.

Equity and compensation. As a Co-Founder, you will receive equity ownership through founders’ shares. During initial validation, you will receive a monthly stipend as an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR). A competitive salary will be available once incorporated.

Support and stability. You will have backing from R-LABS, including mentorship, funding, and strategic resources.

Qualifications & experience

• Proven track record of building and exiting startups, and raising capital.
• Experience in technology-driven real estate or capital markets is preferred.
• Strong network with developers, institutional capital providers, real estate data providers, and lenders.
• Ability to articulate a vision, motivate teams, and execute strategies effectively.
• Subject matter experience in residential real estate investing, development financing, or real estate funds is desirable.

Interview process

• A virtual interview with a Talent Advisor.
• An in-person interview with the Managing Director from R-LABS.
• Two assessments: Clifton Strengths and Kolbe.
• A final in-person interview with the CEO and Founder of R-LABS.
