We are seeking dedicated Bike Patrol Security Guards to join our team in Richmond, BC. This role is a dynamic, outdoor position requiring adaptability and resilience to weather conditions.
While primarily conducted on e-bikes, this role may involve walking patrols depending on weather or operational needs.
Wage : $19.44-20.51 / hr
This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct bike patrols of the property, transitioning to walking patrols as required by weather or site conditions.
- Monitor and enforce policies to ensure a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries from the public.
- Proactively identify and report vandalism, suspicious activities, and undesirable behavior.
- Respond promptly and professionally to emergency situations.
- Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques to manage conflicts and diffuse tense situations.
- Write accurate and detailed incident reports.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter inappropriate behavior.
What We’re Looking For :
- Valid BC Security License (Licenses starting with E16 or lower prioritized).
- Occupational First Aid Level 1
- Additional Certifications :
- AST (Asset)
- Previous experience in security or a similar role.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent physical fitness to perform patrols and respond to incidents.
- Adaptability to outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
