Forklift Operator/Rotator Clamp

Our client is seeking a Licensed Counter-Balance Forklift Operator to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move stock around the facility, clamp boxes of recycled material and dump into a bin, among other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Location: Scarborough, ON

Pay Rate: $23.00/hour

Hours:

• Day Shift, 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
• Afternoon Shift, 3:30pm to 12:00am, Monday to Friday

What You'll Do:

• Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse and recycle materials into bins using rotator clamp
• Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
• Load and unload products from trailers or containers s
• Stack and store merchandise in the appropriate areas
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist in other warehouse duties as needed

• Licensed Forklift operator, with experience on a Rotator Clamp is considered an asset
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving Electric Counter-Balance forklift
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate equipment safely
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution systems and warehouse management systems
• Mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting and maintenance tasks
• Must have a clear criminal background history
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position
