Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Application Development: Design, code, and test robust applications using COBOL on AS and COBOL on Mainframe platforms.
• Batch Management: Create, maintain, and troubleshoot JCL (Job Control Language) scripts and manage production batch scheduling using CA7.
• Database Administration: Write complex SQL queries and perform performance tuning on DB2 databases across both midrange and mainframe environments.
• Data Integration (ETL): Design and implement ETL strategies to extract data from legacy systems, transform it based on business logic, and load it into target warehouses or downstream systems.
• System Maintenance: Perform root cause analysis for production abends (Mainframe) or job failures (AS) and implement permanent fixes.
• Modernization: Assist in the integration of legacy systems with modern web services (REST/SOAP) and API layers.
