Could you be the full-time Signaling Project Manager in Toronto, ON we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your project management and signaling expertise in a cutting-edge field. Work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll play a central role in delivering the signaling & train control solution for one of Canada’s most transformative public transit projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with global teams, local experts, and key partners, ensuring the successful execution of system activities, managing risks and opportunities, and driving cross-functional collaboration across various disciplines (, engineering, supply chain, field, etc.).

You’ll specifically have end-to-end ownership for system deployment activities while ensuring compliance with contractual commitments and achieving QCDP (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Performance) objectives.

We’ll look to you for:

• Define and apply project strategies to meet contractual commitments and targets.

• Own system activities and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

• Manage risks, opportunities, and deviations that may impact project objectives.

• Ensure compliance with applicable rules, standards, and processes (, Ethics, EHS, Railway Safety).

• Plan, monitor, and control project activities, including scope, schedule, resources, and costs.

• Synchronize internal and external stakeholders at on-shore and off-shore sites.

• Represent Alstom towards customers and external stakeholders as needed.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in project management roles, preferably in railway signaling.

• Experience working in and with multinational companies and diverse business cultures.

• Knowledge of interlocking and train control systems, such as ETCS (European Train Control System).

• Familiarity with Alstom’s processes for efficient execution.

• Strong leadership, communication, and entrepreneurial mindset.

• Ability to coordinate multi-site and multi-disciplinary teams effectively.

• Good knowledge of project management processes and tools.

• Ability and availability to travel to sites within Canada and abroad on a regular basis.

Compensation

The expected compensation for this role is $135,000 – $175,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
