Requirements

Your Role as Baker

Our Bakers start their day with an empty bakery, filling it with fresh product baked from scratch. They feel great knowing that all left overs go to charities that support our community. Right now, we are looking for teammates to share our love of fresh bread and baking together for our loyal customers.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Work as part of a small team baking early each morning, following carefully crafted recipes
• Work alongside your team to keep the bakery clean, and contribute to a great customer experience
• Learn production schedules and processes, spinning and shaping dough, and proving and baking your creations in the ovens
• Take home a sense of accomplishment, pride in your work and belonging to a great team along with complimentary fresh baked goodies.

• Relevant kitchen experience and baking education are desirable

Physical Requirements

• Continuous standing/walking for all tasks
• Constant use of both hands, with occasional forceful gripping
• Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 10kg and occasionally lifting and carrying up to 22 kg
• Frequent bending, turning and reaching above and/or below shoulder level
• Occasional pushing, pulling and some forward bending
