The role
The role : Full Stack Developer in Canadian Banking Engineering working in a fast paced Agile environment focused on product onboarding
What will you do?
- Full stack role – 50%, 50%
- Planning and executing to meet sprint objectives as well as program / project milestones as a member of the scrum team.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Create and maintain software documentation
- Collaborate with the Scrum team to plan milestones, successfully execute software delivery, and escalate issues as needed
What do you need to succeed?
5+ years' experience as a full-stack developer2+ years' experience working with MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node) stack in a professional environment2+ years' of unit testing experience with both frontend and backend code2+ years of experience working with microservice architecture2+ years' experience working in Agile / Scrum frameworkExcellent communication skills with ability to influence decision making across stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to lead team members with differing opinions and provide guidance to varying levels of experienceEffective organization, planning, and time management skillsPost-secondary education, preferably in computer science, engineering; A Scrum certification would be an assetNice-To-Have Skills
Experience working with monorepo architectureDemonstrated experience working with Gitflow branching strategyExperience working with Trunk based branching strategyWhat’s in it for you?
