Aramark is Hiring Cooks for Abbvie Food Services

Location: Abbvie (8401 Trans-Canada Highway, Saint-Laurent, QC H4S 1Z1)

Position: Cook

Two positions are currently available:

Lead Cook

• Wage: $24.00/hour

Salad Bar Cook

• Wage: $20.00/hour

Schedule / Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday to Friday

Start Date: Immediate

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Prepare salads for the salad bar and catering services.
• Prepare sandwiches for catering events and functions.
• Complete food and workstation setup activities.
• Assemble and present catering trays and platters.
• Participating in food inventory counts.
• Demonstrate creativity while meeting client needs and expectations.
• Ensure the quality of food products and services while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Prepare high-quality hot meal offerings.
• Assist in optimizing food and labor costs.
• Ensure compliance with management, health, hygiene, and food safety programs and standards.
• Monitor and maintain service quality and customer satisfaction levels.
• Respond to operational needs and adapt to changing service priorities.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry.
• Experience in catering preparation is considered an asset.
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• MAPAQ Food Hygiene and Sanitation Certification is considered an asset.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Customer service oriented with a commitment to customer satisfaction.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00.
