Toronto Local Food, Farms & Farmers' Markets

The Cabbagetown Farmers’ Market invites you to become a vital part of our 2026 market season, offering a unique opportunity to connect with local farmers and artisans.
Market Overview
Nestled in the heart of downtown Toronto, near the charming intersection of Winchester and Sumach streets and adjacent to the scenic Riverdale Farm, our market boasts an array of local produce and handcrafted goods. Operating every Tuesday from 3 PM to 7 PM, our season spans from May 12th to October 20th, ensuring our commitment to the community takes place rain or shine.
Volunteer Roles
We are thrilled to offer three dynamic volunteer opportunities tailored to different interests and skills:
1. Market Set-up (1:30 PM – 3:00 PM)
2. Market Takedown (6:45 PM – 7:45 PM)
3. Market Support (3 PM – 7 PM)
