Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and execute annual SOX scoping, control rationalization, and testing strategies
• Perform or oversee walkthroughs and control testing; evaluate deficiencies and determine severity (design vs. operating effectiveness)
• Drive remediation plans for control deficiencies, including root cause analysis and sustainable fixes
• Facilitate risk and control discussions with business units, process owners, and senior stakeholders
• Evaluate control effectiveness, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements aligned to risk appetite
• Provide oversight and guidance to a team of control testers, reviewing work performed by junior team members and co-sourced providers
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
• Provide advisory guidance on control implications of new initiatives

Job Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree preferred
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in SOX, internal controls, audit, or risk management
• Big 4 experience preferred
• Experience leading SOX walkthroughs and testing cycles
• Hands-on RCSA facilitation experience
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Information security certification / accreditation a plus
