Job description
We are seeking an exceptionally accomplished Senior Change Management Consultant with an extensive track record in Organizational Change Management (OCM) to lead high-visibility transformation strategies across the enterprise. In this role, you will take full ownership of the people-side of change, ensuring that large-scale structural, process, and technological transitions achieve maximum adoption and minimal resistance. Operating as a trusted strategic advisor, you will design actionable blueprints that bridge the gap between project execution and operational readiness, guiding diverse stakeholders and executive leadership smoothly through complex corporate transformations.

Location: Toronto, ON (Fully Onsite – 5 days/week required)

Duration: 12-month contract.

Advantages
Strategic Influence: Command complete ownership of enterprise-level change strategies, directly advising senior leadership on high-impact transformational decisions.

Comprehensive Toolkit Deployment: Utilize your expertise to design and execute a full suite of custom communication, training, and resistance-management frameworks.

Complex Stakeholder Matrix: Broaden your portfolio by orchestrating consensus and alignment across a massive, highly inter-dependent web of corporate business partners.

Value Realization Footprint: Drive clear, referenceable organizational impacts by converting project deployment milestones into verified user adoption and proficiency.

Responsibilities
Enterprise Change Architecture: Architect, implement, and scale comprehensive change management strategies, actionable frameworks, and targeted roadmaps for large transformational initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment: Identify, profile, and analyze key stakeholder groups across the enterprise, formulating robust engagement strategies to dissolve adoption barriers and build operational consensus.

Consultative Advisory & Coaching: Serve as an active, visible coach to senior leaders and cross-functional teams, equipping them to operate as change champions and effectively navigate resistance.

Communication & Training Enablement: Design, deploy, and oversee targeted communication vehicles, sponsor roadmaps, training plans, and stakeholder assessments throughout the project lifecycle.

Readiness & Impact Diagnosis: Design and conduct rigorous change readiness assessments and business impact analyses, presenting data-driven findings to leadership to steer mitigation plans.

Risk & Resistance Mitigation: Proactively identify potential people-side risks, map anticipated points of structural resistance, and develop tactical blueprints to address and neutralize operational concerns.

Adoption Analytics & Telemetry: Establish and administer definitive measurement structures to track, analyze, and report on individual adoption rates, system utilization, and proficiency metrics.

Benefits Sustainment & Knowledge Transfer: Build long-term sustainability models to embed changes into the organizational fabric, orchestrating continuous improvement tracks and permanent knowledge transfer.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Process Improvement Specialists to embed structured change management tracks directly into technical project delivery timelines.

Qualifications
Enterprise Change Management Seniority: 15+ years of progressive professional experience leading large-scale Organizational Change Management (OCM) initiatives within highly complex enterprise environments (Strictly Required).

Large-Scale Transformation Footprint: Proven track record successfully managing change strategies for high-density projects featuring a diverse and complex matrix of corporate stakeholders (Strictly Required).

Communications & Training Mastery: Expert-level proficiency building actionable, targeted change tools, including end-to-end communication plans, user training frameworks, and sponsor roadmaps (Strictly Required).

Methodological Framework Depth: Deep functional mastery of industry-standard OCM principles, methodologies, structured processes, and analytical change tools.

Impact & Readiness Analytics: Extensive experience conducting quantitative change impact assessments, organizational readiness audits, and defining adoption success metrics.

Conflict & Resistance Triage: Advanced capabilities in root-cause troubleshooting for user resistance, paired with excellent conflict resolution and corporate negotiation mechanics.

Soft Skills: Outstanding active listening, group facilitation, and presentation capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to influence individuals at all tiers of an organization toward a shared objective.
