Job description

High-Level Description:

Coordinate efforts on collecting integrity data

Specific Accountabilities:

This role resides in the Facilities and Storage Integrity teams, focused on sites that connect multiple pipelines or supply gas to customers and perform functions such as increasing or decreasing pressure, as well as measuring and conditioning natural gas, and the storage wells and associated assets.



The team develops inspection plans for these sites then assesses the results of the inspections to support fitness for service decisions and to confirm the asset are safe for continued service.

The specific role will focus on the collection, review and management of relevant records and integrity documents including design drawings, confirmation of data from the field, and/or past condition monitoring activities. Management of the data includes but not limited to: records to be accessible, readable and traceable.



Work covers all facilities and storage assets and will include travel and fieldwork

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assess current data gaps.

Conduct records search and implement a process for a proper data management.

Perform quality assurance on collected data.

Perform data mining to support assessments.

Support execution of field work to close data gaps.

Provide analytical support to Integrity Engineers.

Consolidate information acquired into reports and communications.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Required:

• Engineering degree or equivalent.

• 2+ years of relevant experience in Integrity, Engineering and/or Operations in the energy sector.

• Self-motivated and ability to work independently.

• Excellent data analysis skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Experience with MS Office software, Adobe Reader, MS Teams necessary.

• Proficient with MS Excel and programming.

• Share the Enbridge core values of safety, integrity, respect, inclusion, and high performance.

Preferred:

• Experience in station engineering, station integrity, gas transmission and distribution operations, gas storage operations, within the oil and gas industry would be beneficial.

• Experience and understanding of station design, construction practices, field operations, service procedures.

• Experience with ProjectWise or similar records management system.

• Experience with modelling/coding in SPSS software or similar.

Travel:

Some travel to the US; valid passport (or visa) required;

Expenses reimbursed; to be approved prior to expense incurred.

Some driving within Ontario maybe required for site visits. A Driver's abstract is required.


Schedule:

This role is primarily an office role.

Field and site visits as required.

Pay range for this role is $27.00 per hour to $30.00 per hour.
