This position is provisionally onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8 : 00 AM and 5 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.

About the Engagement

Our public‑sector client requires a Junior Front End Software Developer to support the design, development, troubleshooting, and maintenance of front‑end applications and user interfaces for large, complex systems. The resource will work onsite at an OPS office and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams across the full SDLC.

Scope

• Translate technical specifications into functional, tested, high‑quality front‑end code.
• Develop programming specifications, generate code, and perform unit testing across assigned modules.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues during development, implementation, conversion, and migration activities.
• Support integration of front‑end features within large, complex, multi‑tier systems.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility, responsive behaviour, and adherence to accessibility standards (AODA / WCAG).
