Assisting the development of continuous improvement or problem solving in the factory using engineering, speaks to you? Do you prefer to work in a small team and have a nice variety of projects?

Are you flexible and show great adaptability to change? Do you have experience managing industrial projects and are you an outstanding team player?

Do you also have experience in the food industry and more particularly in a cheese factory / dairy? Don’t hesitate for a second, this position is for you!

Your mission :

Thanks to your critical thinking and your autonomy, you will have to study and implement technical solutions in various projects related to the management of production operations and investments, by carrying out financial analyzes and cost evaluation.

You will work closely with the maintenance, production and R&D departments, to ensure monitoring of the results of new work over time.

More precisely, you will have to :

• Guarantee the study and execution of technical investments and management of the investment process in project mode
• Support the engineering manager in developing a 3-year investment plan
• Have feasibility studies carried out and establish detailed specifications
• Validate the issues and ensure that the technical solutions proposed and retained are in line with the issues or needs
• Ensure the development of the network of external suppliers and service providers; and participate in negotiations
• Ensure the correct definition of needs in substance and form
• Ensure good communication in the field with the services concerned
• Validate from a technical point of view the packaging versus the equipment concerned
• Participate in the development of process P&IDs

What will set you apart :

• Training in Food, Industrial or Automated Production Engineering
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position
• Proficiency in the office suite and Autocad
• Good oral and written communication in English and French
• Ease of adaptation
• Negotiation skills (an asset)
• Experience in agri-food environment Cheese / dairy (an asset)
