Humber River Health is a fully digital hospital dedicated to innovative, technology‑driven care. We are seeking a Unit Aide for our Operating Room team to support surgical and clinical operations.

- Employment Status : Permanent Part Time
- Hours of Work : 8‑hour rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Location : Humber River Health – Wilson Site
- Labour Group : NOWU Service
- Reporting Relationship : Manager, Operating Room
- Hourly Rate : $26.356 – $26.877
Position Responsibilities
Ensure that areas and supply carts are stocked, replacing linen, isolation supplies, etc.Maintain an established inventory of sterile and unsterile supplies for the units.Assist with collection of urgent supplies and medications from pharmacy or equipment as needed.Other stocking duties as assigned.Contact SPD, EVS, and / or Stores for additional supplies if necessary.Transport clean / soiled linen, medical‑surgical supplies, specimens, etc.Ensure that all empty bays are equipped with a clean stretcher.Assist surgical and plastic clinic patients with way‑finding to pre‑operative change rooms.Notify manager or designate about broken equipment, initiate reporting and transportation to Biomedical Engineering or Maintenance as required.Work with volunteers in navigating patients in the Operating Room department.Qualifications
Grade 12 education or equivalent.Two years of recent related hospital medical / surgical supply experience.Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) or Sterile Supply Processing certificate (required).Working knowledge of medical supplies.Surgical experience is a strong asset.Ability to lift 25–30 pounds repeatedly.Excellent attendance and discipline‑free record.Understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion principles (asset).Humber River Health values lived and learned experiences in addressing systemic barriers and advancing inclusive practices.Equal Employment Opportunity
