Your opportunity:
Under the general direction of the Director, Undergraduate Programs and Student Experience, the program administrator is responsible for supporting the coordination and operation of many of Munk's undergraduate programs. Duties include but are not limited to program governance and administration, event coordination and promotion, student advising, course admission, and the development of student internship and experiential learning opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting new program development and governance processes
- Providing detailed information on program and/or course eligibility requirements, procedures, policies and deadlines
- Providing guidance to program coordinators on the roll out of new programs
- Analyzing statistical information to inform enrollment projections and planning
- Producing promotional and outreach materials
- Coordinating the preparation and distribution of program and/or course material
- Coordinating tasks for projects and other strategic initiatives with stakeholders
- Analyzing potential placement opportunities to determine suitability with student academic learning objectivesPromoting programs at recruitment eventsConceptualizing, organizing and executing event activities
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences or Humanities or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum four years recent and relevant experience in program administration, academic advising and coordinating student placement, preferably in a university undergraduate office
- Experience with preparing governance documentation
- Experience with providing academic advice to undergraduate students on a wide range of academic matters
- Experience applying and interpreting academic guidelines and procedures
- Experience in liaising with industry and business partners to develop placement opportunity
- Experience in planning and organizing events for student work-integrated learning activities
- Experience in planning and organizing events for academic programs
- Experience in coordinating the administrative process for new course/program development
- Solid skills with ROSI or other related student database system
- Strong working knowledge in MS Office
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships
- Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
