Our client is looking for an Account Coordinator to join their team. Working as part of the creative team, you lead the coordination of our clients’ project workflows from intake to production to billing.

You coordinate the project’s budget and schedule, liaise between clients, creative staff and suppliers to ensure things are done well and on time.

You like the pressure of a deadline and taking the initiative to stay a few steps ahead of everyone else. You enjoy working with other people and are inspired by the idea of being the catalyst that will help us to continue building strong relationships with our clients.

In this role you will work full time hours on an 8 month assignment, supporting their Calgary location (onsite).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate projects from beginning to end, including scheduling meetings, setting timelines, defining tasks for the creative team, research, production coordination, final delivery and invoicing.
  • Liaise between clients, suppliers, contractors, and the creative team to build strong professional relationships.
  • Daily management of client relationships : understanding what is needed, ensuring delivery of accurate products, and providing fantastic customer service.
  • Keep projects moving under pressure and on tight deadlines.
  • Be aware of budgets and potential scope creep.
  • Escalate proactively and appropriately if there is a danger of going over the estimated budget or deadline.
  • Ensure all quality control policies are adhered to, while constantly looking to improve and implement these.
  • Review proofs with design team for accuracy before sending them to the client.
  • File management and administrative tasks for projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in an agency, marketing department, or other creative / print environment.
  • High level of organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service, teamwork, and time management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and fellow team members.
  • Knows the creative process with a strong understanding of print, digital and social networks.
  • Comfortable working in a Mac environment.
  • Expertise in Microsoft suite of products and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Completion of a post-secondary degree / diploma or equivalent experience in business, marketing, project management, print or graphic design required.
