Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with a strong technical background in ServiceNow, a solid understanding of financial systems within the public sector, and experience managing offshore project teams. This role will focus on delivering complex IT projects that enhance service delivery and financial operations for public sector clients in Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for IT initiatives involving ServiceNow implementations, integrations, and enhancements.
- Manage financial systems projects aligned with Ontario public sector policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and offshore delivery centers.
- Oversee and coordinate the work of offshore development and support teams to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Monitor project risks and issues; implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership and public sector clients through status reports, dashboards, and executive briefings.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with Ontario government standards, procurement rules, and data privacy regulations.
Required Experience
- 5 years of project management experience in IT, preferably in the public sector.
- Proven experience with ServiceNow implementation or enhancement projects.
- Strong track record of successfully managing offshore development teams.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Experience working with Ontario government ministries, agencies, or Crown corporations.
- Knowledge of public procurement processes and vendor management.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of public sector financial systems, budgeting, and reporting processes in Ontario or other Canadian jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution skills.
Preferred Skills
- PMP or PRINCE2 Certification.
- ITIL certification, particularly with focus on ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, CSM).
