Senior Software Engineer

A well-established organization in the financial industry is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer. As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of critical business applications while helping modernize systems that have supported the business for decades. You will partner closely with developers, business stakeholders, and technical leaders to design, build, enhance, and support applications across a diverse technology landscape. From modern web applications and cloud-based solutions to legacy platforms and desktop tools, you'll have the opportunity to solve a wide range of technical challenges and influence how systems evolve over time.

This role offers the chance to work across the full software development lifecycle, contribute to modernization initiatives, and help bring legacy applications into the modern era while ensuring they continue to support critical business functions.

What you will do and how you will make an impact …

• Develop and support a diverse portfolio of business-critical applications across modern and legacy technology environments.
• Enhance, maintain, and modernize enterprise applications that support core business operations using React and .NET Technologies.
• Work across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, implementation, and support.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business stakeholders, and technical leaders to deliver scalable and sustainable solutions.
• Support both cloud-based applications and desktop applications used for high-volume operational processes.
• Bring legacy applications into the modern era while ensuring stability and continuity for the business.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape the future direction of the application landscape.
• Participate in a highly collaborative environment that emphasizes pair programming, knowledge sharing, and team-based problem solving.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.
• Strong backend development experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience developing modern web applications using React.
• Strong SQL Server and database development skills.
• Experience working on application modernization and legacy transformation initiatives.
• Exposure to Azure cloud technologies.
• Experience supporting and enhancing business-critical applications.

Compensation and Benefits ...

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000, depending on experience. The total compensation package includes paid time off, a bonus program, education program, stock program, RRSP matching, extended health and dental benefits, and more..
