Senior Technical Analyst - Dynatrace Specialist – Job Description
Dynatrace Senior Developer performs onboarding of various small/ midsize/enterprise level systems to various Dynatrace environments and build powerful user dashboards to meet business needs
The role performs deep-instrumentation with Dynatrace such as setting up naming rules, process grouping rules, identifying key business transactions, setting up session attributes, user attributes, custom metrics, creating alerting profiles, enabling Dynatrace plugins and deploying Oneagents
The role provides technical and consulting support to project teams to identify and meet data onboarding and dashboarding needs with varying degrees of supervision and act as a subject matter expert on Dynatrace
Understands code development and deployment processes and implements best practices in development and deployment practices
Understands application availability and strives towards keeping applications up and stable in multiple application environments
Quickly analyzes business and technology challenges and recommends appropriate IT solutions and services in a real-time support environment
Resolves issues that cross multiple systems or departments that may affect the application stability
Understands importance of source code configuration management
Tracks open issues and resolution of issues
Self-motivated and focused individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail
Senior Technical Analyst - Dynatrace Specialist – Mandatory Skills
Possesses excellent technical acumen
Capable of applying Dynatrace best practices for onboarding applications, performing deep-instrumentation and building dashboards
Senior Technical Analyst - Dynatrace Specialist - Nice to Have Skills
Good understanding of Dynatrace managed architecture
Ability to apply specific Dynatrace plugins to gather metrics
Well-versed in Dynatrace configuration settings to correctly onboard data and classify metrics
Fluent in Dynatrace user session queries and configuring custom alerting profiles
Deploying and managing applications in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and/or private cloud platforms (OpenStack, VMware)
Troubleshoot and resolve Dynatrace configuration issues
Exposure to Dynatrace managed cluster administration
OS: Well-versed in Linux commands
Exposure to database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, etc. and networking infrastructure such as firewall, load balancers, DNS, active directory, etc.
Certifications preferred - Dynatrace Associate, Dynatrace Professional
