Welders or Apprentice Welders

Position Summary :

Reporting to the Welding Supervisor, Welder is responsible for fitting, assembling and welding parts and components of a structural nature in accordance with blueprints, drawings and / or verbal instructions to produce agricultural equipment.

Responsibilities :

• Operation of required measuring instruments tape measures, micrometer and weld fillet gage.
• Welds components in flat position.
• Complete welds as per company drawings, standards and procedures.
• Recording of process sheets and daily work tickets (interval and first off checks).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform all other work activities as assigned and required.

Education, Experience and Knowledge Required :

• Journeyman Wire Process Operator or Journeyman, Welder (Red Seal or Provincial) or CWB trade certificate
• Grade 12 Diploma or GED equivalency
• Registered Apprentices considered.
• Combinations of education and experience may also be considered.
