Reporting
The Service Technician reports directly to the General Manager of North America .

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload excavators and related parts.
- Oversee machine placement and maintain machine warehouse management.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspection and ensure machines are thoroughly clean prior to shipment.
- Adhere to the machine delivery protocols.
- Manage and maintain workshop facilities, ensuring they are properly cleaned and maintained.
- Install machine attachments and options as required.
- Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions.
- Support parts warehouse work if needed.
- Provide repair and maintenance services for dealers and customers when necessary.
- Complete other related tasks arranged by the manager.
Qualifications
- Proven service experience with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong working knowledge of equipment and tools used in the industry.
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
- Technical degree or certification is considered an asset.
- A driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Workshop Technician or Service Technician.
- Experienced using diagnostic tools is required.
- Excavator / Forklift experience is considered as an asset.
