Asa Payroll Coordinator you'll play a pivotal role inmanaging fullcycle payrolls for multipleunions and provinces ensuring accuracy and compliance.

MustHaves :

  • PCPcertificate required.
  • 35years ofexperience with fullcycle payroll in a highvolume payroll administratorrole.
  • Intermediateto advanced Excel skills; ability to pull reports and analyzedata.
  • Experienceworking with confidentialinformation.
  • Willingnessto work overtime during peak seasons asneeded.

NicetoHaves :

  • Experienceimplementing / changing payrollsystems
  • Proficiencyin using and administrating the ADP WFN payrollsystem

Responsibilities :

  • Managefullcycle payrolls for multiple unions and provinces ensuringaccuracy andcompliance.
  • Validatetime reports audit pay rate exceptions and accurately allocate jobcosting.
  • Executepayroll processing GL posting benefits administration andcomprehensive payrollreporting.
  • Collaboratewith managers project groups site admins unions and thirdpartyproviders.
  • Prepareand reconcile monthly union dues fringe benefits remittances andpayrolltaxes.
  • Balancevarious payroll GLs prepare necessary journal entries and overseeyearendprocesses.
  • Contributeto system implementation projects including data conversion systemmapping and compliance with collective agreements andlegislation.
  • Organizeand prioritize tasks in a highvolume environment with minimumsupervision.
  • Workprofessionally and proactively with business segment leadersregarding their particular business needs while enforcing Payrolldepartmentstandards.
  • Fostera culture of innovation operational excellence and continuousimprovement within the payrollteam.
