Come join our team of passionate and energetic individuals who are committed to serving our members and supporting our volunteers. The Human Resources Consultant provides up to 8 hours / week remotely and is required to be onsite in the Vancouver office for 2-4 hours each month.

Position Overview
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Human Resources Consultant provides advice on and administration of human resources practices for a 25-person team working at a not-for-profit association.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with the staff team to ensure positive interactions.
- Lead recruitment and onboarding of new hires and work with senior management to continuously improve recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Provide strategic advice on employment relations, performance management, compensation and training.
- Administer processes and maintain records for annual and periodic performance and compensation reviews.
- Monitor and reconcile leave / absence records.
- Collaborate with Director, Finance & Administration regarding annual benefits renewal.
- Support end of employment processes including dismissal planning, exit interviews and documentation.
- Participate in monthly management team and bi-weekly staff meetings when requested.
