Automation Software Engineer
As the Global Customer Operation Automation Software Engineer, you will be a key member of the Global Customer Operation team, responsible for digitally transforming business processes.
You will drive automation projects and initiatives with a broad scope (i.e., global) and high organizational impact.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, as well as a proven track record of delivering automation projects.
You will also need to have a deep understanding of process improvement and impact.
Responsibilities
Supporting the Operational Teams during the UAT and rollout phases. Your expertise in automation development will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency and streamlining business processes.
By delivering high-quality RPA solutions and providing robust support, you will contribute to the overall success of automation initiatives within the organization.
The role will involve the following :
Designing Automation process solutions in accordance with standard UiPath design principles and conventions.
Configuring new RPA processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable, and easy to understand.
Creating and maintaining solution documentation e.g., high level design document, process definition document etc.
Supporting existing processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process.
Problem solving issues that arise in day to day running of RPA processes and providing timely responses and solutions as required.
Communicating on software related issues, suggested improvements, and participating with other users in the Automation community.
Working within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery / project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process.
Creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases
Qualifications :
Previous experience with process automation
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people’.
Have strong skills set in understanding and helping to define business process in general terms
Thorough understanding of business operations and processes, including knowledge of Global Order-To-Cash, Product Services, AR, Credits / Collections, Customer Support, and Sales
Must have the ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a cross-functional organization.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to flex schedule to support multiple time zones.
Software development domain expertise in one or more general purpose programming languages.
At least 2 to 4 years of experience with one or more RPA tools (e.g. UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)
Keep up to date with emerging technologies and products as well as awareness of opportunities there provide.
