0 FTE Temporary (6-month contract) position As a team member of the Innovative and Collaborative Technology Services Department, the Information and Communication Technology Services Support Technician provides a variety of services, support and training for schools to ensure that the technology needs of the schools’ staff and students are met.
Education and Experience required : Minimum three-year Computer Systems Technology Diploma or equivalent Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) certification A+ and / or Network+ certification At least two years’ experience working in a role supporting information and communications technology and infrastructure Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience working in a K to 12 school environment preferred Ability to maintain the confidential nature of the position Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a cooperative team Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license (Full G License) Start Date : ASAP Job Type : Temporary Salary : $27.
