Financial Analyst - IT Transformation

As a Data Analyst working in the Cost-Finance Control team at Pomerleau Construction, you will identify trends and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and productivity for a large-scale building and infrastructure construction project(s) - ranging from $ million to over $1 billion.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders to understand needs and develop data-driven solutions that meet these and support business objectives.

What You Will Do

• Collect, clean and prepare data from various sources to make it usable;
• Analyze data to provide recommendations for improving efficiency and productivity;
• Work closely with technical teams, managers and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and adapt analyses accordingly;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data analysis processes and tools within the organization;
• Develop customized dashboards and reports to present results clearly and concisely;
• Study the use of data to identify opportunities for improvement;
• Find and implement innovative solutions and tools to automate data reporting.

This role could be for you if you have

• College or university degree in finance, accounting, computer science or related field;
• 5 years' experience in data analysis and database manipulation;
• Experience in using business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and data extraction tools ( SQL);
