Job description
A prominent enterprise in the digital transformation space is seeking a Senior QA Lead to oversee end-to-end quality assurance initiatives across complex software projects. In this high-impact position, you will act as the operational backbone for quality standards, taking full ownership of test strategies, cross-functional execution, and release readiness. You will bridge the gap between product management, architecture, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to ensure every release meets high enterprise benchmarks.

Advantages
Join a dynamic, forward-thinking organization at the forefront of modern digital solutions.

Highly collaborative and supportive work environment that values autonomy and technical leadership.

Competitive compensation package with opportunities for professional growth.

Exposure to large-scale, multi-system enterprise environments.

Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning: Formulate comprehensive testing approaches, define scope, outline dependencies, evaluate risks, and establish clear entry/exit criteria for project releases.

Test Orchestration: Lead the design, review, and hands-on execution of functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites.

Cross-Team Alignment: Partner with application teams, external vendors, and developers to align upstream and downstream dependencies and address delivery gaps.

Defect Management & UAT: Facilitate defect triage, guide business stakeholders through UAT preparations, and validate post-production deployments.

Governance & Reporting: Keep leadership and enterprise quality groups informed of testing progress, blocker escalation, and launch readiness.

Qualifications
7+ years of dedicated software quality assurance experience, with a proven track record leading testing initiatives.

Strong expertise creating project-level test plans and translating business specifications into robust testing strategies.

Practical knowledge coordinating multi-application testing across Agile/Scrum and iterative frameworks.

Excellent hands-on capabilities in functional, integration, end-to-end testing, defect lifecycle management, and UAT support.

Superior communication skills, capable of translating technical nuances to non-technical business partners.

Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.

Summary
Position: Senior QA Lead

Location: Greater Montreal Area, QC (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Full-time / Contract

Industry: Technology / Enterprise Software Solutions
