ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Planning: Formulate holistic testing frameworks, establish project scope, map technical dependencies, evaluate risks, and define rigid entry/exit criteria for release streams.
Test Orchestration: Lead the design, review, and hands-on execution of functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing cycles.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with application teams, delivery leads, and third-party vendors to resolve operational bottlenecks and synchronize upstream/downstream dependencies.
Defect Management & UAT: Facilitate structured defect triage, guide business owners through UAT preparation, and validate post-deployment releases in production.
Governance & Reporting: Maintain transparent quality metrics, escalate blockers proactively, and provide senior stakeholders with actionable insights on release readiness.
Qualifications7+ years of dedicated software quality assurance experience, with demonstrated hands-on leadership in a QA Lead role.
Proven background in designing project-level test strategies and translating complex business requirements into structured test plans.
Practical expertise orchestrating multi-system testing across Agile/Scrum and iterative delivery frameworks.
Advanced capabilities in functional, integration, and end-to-end execution, defect lifecycle management, and UAT support.
Superior communication skills, with a track record of effectively bridging technical teams and business stakeholders.
Our client operates in Canada.
