People Store Staffing Solutions is looking to hire Distribution Centre Associates for our client, the largest online grocery distribution project in Canada – Voilà! This $100-million, state-of-the-art facility is conveniently located on the border of Brampton and Woodbridge, Ontario . Be among their first employees!

Pay Rate : Starting at $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Ensuring quality and accuracy for every customer order, acting as an advocate to deliver an exceptional end-to-end customer experience with personal accountability
• Working in a temperature-controlled environment (0°ree;C – 15°ree;C)
• Picking and bagging customer orders into Customer Delivery Totes using the Ocado Smart Platform , maintaining the highest quality packing standards
• Supporting receiving goods from suppliers and decanting products into Hive Totes using the Ocado Smart Platform
• Working in the Dispatch Zone, including loading customer orders into delivery vans and de-kitting returned assets
• Utilizing hand scan (RF) technology
• Operating Mechanical Handling Equipment where applicable
• Remaining mobile and completing repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Consistently lifting / handling products up to 40 lbs throughout the day (team lifting required for heavier items)
• Understanding and adhering to Food Safety Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (health & hygiene, allergens, temperature checks, etc.)
