Job Summary
As a pharmacy technician applicant, all work will be supervised closely and double checked. Work performed will include tasks such as labelling, packaging that is double checked;
kit assembly that is double checked; putting away inventory and other duties as required that are within scope of the unlicensed technician.
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited Pharmacy technician program (CCAPP accredited Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs)
- Membership with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Previous hospital experience is an asset
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic techniques, pharmaceutical arithmetic, pharmaceutical terminology
- Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated problem assessment skills
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
- Demonstrated individual leadership skills
