Responsibilities

What will you do?

We are on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Analyst with a keen eye for detail and a passion for backend systems and API testing.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and integrity of our software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual and automated testing, with specialized skills in UI and API testing tools, and a solid understanding of AWS services.

Your expertise will contribute to enhancing product quality, refining testing processes, and collaborating effectively with our development teams.

  • Lead comprehensive manual testing efforts to pinpoint software issues, focusing on backend systems and overall functionality.
  • Design, develop, and execute automated tests, with a strong emphasis on UI and API testing using Cypress for UI automation and Postman for API testing and automation.
  • Leverage AWS services such as S3 and Lambda to test and validate application functionalities and data integrity.
  • Create and maintain a robust framework for API testing automation, ensuring seamless integration and consistency across systems.
  • Utilize Postman for advanced API testing and automation, developing comprehensive test suites and environments for exhaustive API evaluation.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to gain an in-depth understanding of backend architectures and frontend interfaces, offering valuable feedback to improve product quality.
  • Continuously update and refine testing processes by incorporating the latest testing methodologies and tools, aiming to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in test execution.
  • Document test cases, results, and defects meticulously, facilitating clear and concise communication and documentation for future reference.
  • Display exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities, working collaboratively with team members to identify issues and improve product quality.

Qualifications

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in quality assurance, with a focus on backend systems, UI, and API testing.
  • Expertise in using Cypress for UI automation and Postman for API testing and automation.
  • Familiarity with AWS services, including S3 and Lambda, for testing and data validation purposes.
  • Ability to develop and maintain API testing automation frameworks.
  • Strong documentation skills for test cases, outcomes, and defects.
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • A collaborative approach to working with development teams and enhancing product quality.
  • Skilled in Python with the ability to understand and improve test coverage alongside development teams. - Capable of creating integration, end-to-end, and contract tests to ensure system reliability and compatibility.

Familiar with using testing frameworks like pytest for Python applications.
