Press Assistant

We have a full time, long term job opportunity in Scarborough for a press assistant! Work with a local company!

The pay rate for this position is $18/hour and we pay weekly every Friday by direct deposit!

You will be assisting Press Operators and Rewind/Inspectors in the production and finishing of customer orders, preparing dockets by trimming and mounting printing plates, retrieving raw materials, dies, and tooling. You will also be in charge of keeping additives full (acetate, alcohol, reducer, etc.) and press-side supplies stocked. Cleaning and inspecting blades, press tooling, ink stations, and plates. This is a great team-oriented environment!

Shift options:
– Afternoons: Monday to Friday 3pm to 1:30am

Requirements:
– Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Strong attention to detail and communication skills
