GHD has a great opportunity for a  Senior Environmental Project Engineer  in a Project Engineering Design and Construction role, with a specialization in contaminated sites to support our North American team! Our hiring team, based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Ontario, specializes in environmental assessments, risk assessments, risk management planning and implementation, and remedial design and implementation for public and private sector clients across Canada and the US. Working with an energetic and high-performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in :

• Support of strategic pursuits, focused on federal sector and private industrial clients.
• Provide senior leadership and mentorship with respect to the completion of environmental remediation projects.
• Work within multi-disciplinary project teams, providing environmental advice to other GHD teams.
• Remain current on standard methodologies for innovative remediation approaches.
• Manage design projects including project teams, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
• Manage the development and review of technical environmental reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Opportunity to work on local, national, and global projects, which may at times entail supporting other GHD office locations requiring some travel.
• Support and mentor junior team members in a learning and collaborative atmosphere.
