Senior Project Manager - SAP S/4Hana

Brainhunter is currently seeking " Senior Project Manager " to work for our valued Financial Service Client. The position requires the successful consultant to be on-site 3 days a week in Toronto.

Our prestigious client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the SAP S/4HANA Finance Work Package as part of the Finance Modernization Program . This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of the SAP S/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA Finance upgrade project, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management:

• Develop comprehensive project plans that align with business goals.
• Coordinate with various managers and technical personnel during all project phases.
• Monitor project progress and provide detailed reports on milestones and deliverables.

Stakeholder Management:

• Communicate proactively with program, internal, and external stakeholders.
• Provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Ensure project alignment with business objectives.

Risk Management:

• Identify and manage project risks, issues, decisions, and assumptions.
• Develop and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and motivate project team members.
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members and stakeholders.

Technical Expertise:

• Utilize knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAPS/4 HANA Finance to guide the project team and stakeholders.
• Ensure technical solutions meet business requirements and align with overall IT strategy.

Experience:

• 6+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in SAP S/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA Finance upgrade projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture and functionalities (such as cloud deployments and financial services industry implementations).

Skills:

• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in risk management and mitigation strategies.

Certifications:

• PMP and/or PRINCE2, similar project management certification is preferred.

Nice to Have:

• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC.
• Experience in the financial or insurance industry is a plus.
