Job Title : Client Services and Program Coordinator
Reports to : Program and Communications Manager
Oakville Meals on Wheels (OMoW) was established in 1976 and has been proudly delivering care, connection, and community through a volunteer-based meal delivery service. When our volunteers deliver meals to our clients, they are also delivering peace of mind to families knowing their loved ones are taken care of and compassion to clients through conversation and connection.

Responsibilities
- Provide front-line client service by answering phone and mail inquiries from all clients and prospective clients.
- Assess and determine eligibility of a client’s participation in OMoW’s programs.
- Collect intake information and support ongoing file and data management for all clients and their caregivers.
- Create daily delivery routes for hot meal deliveries, frozen meal deliveries including weekly packaging of frozen meals.
- Responsible for the Frozen Food and Soup Program
- Provide coverage for team members during absence or vacation.
- Deliver meals, as required for any last-minute deliveries or if volunteers have missed items.
- Key contact and user of the organization’s database management systems.
- Assist with special projects, as required.
About you / Qualifications
Previous experience working in a not-for-profit environment an asset.Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.Experience with and comfortable working with clients and a volunteer base.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Reliable, punctual and ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexible and adaptable to changing work demands.Proficient with computer applications, databases, and other commonly available software.Physically able to lift bags of food (at least 20 lbs.) for packing and / or delivery.Working knowledge of other languages to support diversified client base, an asset.To apply, send your cover letter and resume to info@oakvillemealsonwheels.com.
