Job Summary :
Precise ParkLink’s in-house Research and Development division is seeking an experiences Network & Systems Administrator to join its IT team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and continuously improving the organization’s IT system and network infrastructure to support evolving business and technology needs.
Reporting directly to the IT Manager, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal IT staff and play a critical role in system and network configuration, administration, and ongoing support. The position also includes providing end-user and desktop support as required.

Key Responsibilities :
Design, implement, configure, and maintain network infrastructure using Cisco switches, firewalls, and wireless solutions.
Configure, manage, and administer Palo Alto firewalls, including security policies, VPNs, NAT, and threat prevention.
Administer Microsoft Active Directory (AD DS), including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and user / group management.
Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server, Linux servers, and SQL environments.
Manage and support virtualization platforms, primarily VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V, including VM provisioning, performance tuning, backups, and recovery.
Monitor system and network performance to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability.
Implement and maintain security best practices, system patches, updates, and backup strategies.
Troubleshoot and resolve network, server, and end-user technical issues.
Maintain accurate technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
Provide desktop and user support, including hardware, software, operating system, and application troubleshooting.
Qualification and Required Skills :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a Network & Systems Administrator or similar role.
Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies (LAN, WAN, VLANs, routing, and switching).
Proven experience managing Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls and network security solutions.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows and Linux server administration.
Strong expertise in VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization environments.
Experience with cloud services such as Azure and / or AWS is considered an asset.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across network, server, and desktop environments.
Solid understanding of IT security principles, access control, and compliance best practices.
Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Mandatory / Preferred Qualifications :
Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in system and network administration, including end-user support.
Relevant certifications are highly desirable (e.g., CCNA / CCNP, Palo Alto PCNSE, Microsoft, VMware / Virtualization,).
Demonstrated experience implementing and improving IT operations and helpdesk best practices, with advanced knowledge of security, storage, and data protection.
