2 positions available at University Health Network, a contract part‑time role on‑site at The Michener Institute. Salary is $150.00 per hour. Hours are part‑time, Monday to Friday. Delivery is on‑site at the Michener Simulation Lab with some online teaching.

Position Overview

We are actively seeking to hire Professors for our flagship Cardiovascular Perfusion (CVP) program, the largest and only master’s level program in Canada that trains cardiovascular perfusionists for health care settings across Ontario. The primary responsibility of the successful candidate is to teach in the CVP program and deliver a high‑quality educational experience to future perfusionists.

Responsibilities

These positions provide an exciting opportunity to deliver a high‑quality educational experience to future perfusionists. The role will also play a leadership role in all aspects of program design, assessment, evaluation and continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Perfusionist with a minimum of three years’ of demonstrated clinical experience is preferred
• Certified by the Canadian Society of Clinical Perfusion (CSCP) or American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)
• Masters level education in a discipline‑relevant field is preferred
• Certification by and/or membership in relevant professional association(s)
• Previous teaching experience is considered an asset
