Itinerant Music Teacher

We are seeking enthusiastic itinerant teachers to support our 2026 music programme in the following areas :

These roles have the ability to be combined or to be separate. Please state your preference in your cover letter.

• Clarinet – 3 hours class contact per week
• Saxophone – 4 hours class contact per week

The positions commence in 2026. They require the preparation and ability to prepare students from beginners to Level 3 NCEA.

All potential candidates need to hold either a current teacher registration or limited authority to teach (LAT).

Whangaparāoa College is located 35 minutes north of the Auckland Harbour Bridge on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast with a school roll of 2000 learners from Y7 to Y13. The college has outstanding facilities, a committed and talented staff, and a focus on learner achievement.
