District Trainer Job Summary
Our District Trainers drive performance by partnering with the SmartStop Operations team to lead the on-site, in-store training initiatives. They do so by supporting new employees and their on-boarding, by recommending and implementing training actions to drive business results and by providing the support to help employees excel in their performance.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Organize and present materials for training that are meaningful and delivered in a positive, approachable, friendly and sincere manner.
- Assist in the initial phone screening of potential field new hires.
- Onboard, train, and assist all new hires.
- Builds teams with positive communication and concern for individuals.
- Knowledgeable of company features, policies, and procedures.
- Performs regular physical inspections of sites, being able to recognize areas of improvement.
- Understand and be highly proficient in the technology used in training, to include : Microsoft Office, Operating Systems, HRIS System, LMS System, Webinar tools (Zoom, Webex, etc.)
- Must be able to travel to all stores on a regular basis throughout their district (NJ, MD, DE, and PA) and may be asked to travel and help support other districts from time to time.
- Other duties as assigned by the Company.
Qualifications
Must have a proven record of excellent customer service.High performing, natural problem solver.Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and current auto insurance.Culture warriors who value inclusivity and strive to empower all staff members to bring their authentic self to the store every day.Helpful and knowledgeable, gaining a deep knowledge of the stores they service and the company and overall industry.Detailed oriented.Excellent time management & results driven.Integrity and trust that are above reproach.Exceptional communications skills.Prior experience in Self Storage or multi-store locations a plus.Benefits
