Role
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll help scale and support the core infrastructure that powers Verto’s population health platform. You’ll work across cloud systems, automation, and tooling to ensure our services remain reliable, secure, and resilient as we continue to grow. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building and maintaining cloud platforms, solving complex reliability challenges, and seeing their work directly improve the healthcare experience for patients, clinicians, and health teams across North America.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure across a complex production environment with a focus on security, availability, and long-term maintainability
- Seek out, propose, and execute on projects that improve system reliability and reduce operational toil
- Participate in design and architecture discussions, providing guidance to ensure features are built with reliability in mind
- Build end-to-end tooling and automations that enhance observability or resolve issues automatically
- Support cloud security best practices by automating scanning, reporting, and alerting
- Optimize cloud usage, reduce waste, and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, providing Tier 3 support and ensuring clear communication with downstream stakeholders
- Participate in on-call rotations as required
What You Bring
