Why Are We Looking for You? We are proud to support an established and respected client to hire a driven and energetic Inside Sales Specialist. This is an in-office role in Oakville and will focus on new business development with B2B customers for all lines of business across Canada and the US. Your upbeat attitude, analytical skills, and sales drive will make you successful in this role.
Here's what you will do: - Research and maintain a database of contacts and leads.
- Action strategic cold calls to prospects within defined target regions.
- Coordinate with the sales team to set up initial meetings and follow up for feedback after meetings.
- Accurately input and update inbound and outbound leads in the CRM.
- Communicate the value proposition of services and products to prospective customers, answer questions and connect with other areas of the business for additional details to provide to customers.
- Follow up on leads and continue to build relationships with prospects.
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve the sales process and sales outcomes through ongoing analysis of data.
- May attend trade shows or networking events to promote products and services.
Here's what we're looking for: - Post-secondary education in Sales, Business, Marketing or other relevant area of study.
- 1 or more years of sales experience, ideally B2B with industrial or commercial products and/or services.
- Experience with sales generation across Canada and the US is an asset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills are essential.
- Full understanding of the sales process; Prospecting, reporting, approach, presentation, handling objections/declines, connecting with key decision makers, follow-up, value proposition, closing deals.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office, CRM, ERP. Experience with NetSuite is preferred/a strong asset.
- A proven ability to meet and exceed defined targets and metrics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality of work, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a positive attitude.
