Job Description Summary
As a member of our field staff, you’re part of a large team that shares the workload and supports one another at every turn. Field staff are responsible for delivering and installing temporary fence. They work together with guidance from our Supervisor and Operations Manager throughout the day. They arrive together, load their trucks together, and always strive to deliver the best customer experience possible. Full in‑depth training and coaching is provided to all field staff, along with forklift certification.
This position reports directly to the Operations Manager. You will interact daily with clients, Sunbelt’s Operations team, and their counterparts.
Education or Experience
Experience driving a one‐tonne truck delivering materials to and from various job sites safely
Experience supervising the crew and acting as the lead hand once onsite
Familiar with safely setting up and tearing down fence
Experience completing operational paperwork (job reports, truck inventory logs, site checklists, etc.) as directed
Knowledgeable of Sunbelt’s key products / services; understand how to resolve customer items
Sufficient experience working closely with the Operations team and solving on‑site issues
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Clean driver’s abstract and valid Class 5 license
Availability to work weekends and longer hours when required
Physical ability to lift, carry, and handle heavy fence panels
Ability to navigate to sites and ensure the crew arrives safely and expediently
Own transportation
Safe and defensive driving habits
Experience operating tablets and smartphones
Knowledge of general tools and equipment (drills, power washer, painters, banding equipment, etc.) is an asset

Physical Demands

Base Pay Range
25.68 – 36.91 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and / or experience.
