Facilities Manager Commercial Real Estate South Shore Up to $ + Bonus

Hays Property & Real Estate is proud to partner with a global real estate leader are currently in search of a Property Manager for their portfolio in downtown Montreal.

Your new role

As Facility Manager, you will be responsible for for day-to-day management of a commercial office. Responsibilities include task and people management, budget control, service delivery, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage local client and budgetary matters, reporting any out-of-line situations.
  • Control and manage service charge accounts, providing monthly report data to the Account Manager.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by achieving service level requirements and driving acceptable service delivery performance.
  • Maintain strong communication with the user population regarding all business-as-usual activities.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, client, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure fully integrated facilities management and project delivery.
  • Motivate and develop the local team through management and personal development.
  • Implement customer service strategies and develop partnering relationships with key clients.
  • Promote continuous improvement and best practices within the team.
  • Oversee overall operational management within the designated site area, including reception, post room, cleaning, security, and specialist subcontractors.
  • Act as part of the site emergency team for emergency control activities.
  • Maintain proper information flow regarding HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) topics to management and associates.
  • Achieve HSE program goals / targets within agreed timelines.

What you need to succeed

As the successful candidate, you will have at least 5+ years of experience in commercial property management, and have excellent communication skills to effectively manage tenant requests, strong administrative skills, excellent leadership skills, good HSE knowledge, strong knowledge of building systems, possess excellent customer service skills, and are bilingual.
