Your new role
As Assistant Facility Manager, you will be responsible for a combination of advanced facilities work in regulated spaces.
Responsibilities include task and people management, budget control, service delivery, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all front-line clients, addressing various portfolio-related requests.
- Coordinate with trades personnel to manage maintenance tasks, including corrective and preventative measures.
- Utilize a comprehensive understanding of standard principles and techniques to accomplish assigned tasks and resolve routine issues.
- Ensure timely completion of work orders, client requests, and projects.
- Facilitate the collaboration and onboarding of sub-contractors and vendors.
- Conduct site visits to diagnose issues and plan subsequent steps.
- Adhere to the operating budget based on forecasts.
- Possess extensive knowledge of your job discipline and a broad understanding of several related disciplines within the function.
- Influence the quality of your work and that of your team.
- Operate primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Communicate complex information clearly and effectively in straightforward situations.
- Be available for after-hours emergencies.
What you need to succeed
As the successful candidate, you will have at least 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate or facilities management, and have excellent communication skills to effectively manage tenant requests, strong administrative skills, excellent leadership skills, strong knowledge of building systems, possess excellent customer service skills, and are bilingual (FR / EN).
