Searching for a Summer Nanny / Mother’s Helper!

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who can support our family during the summer. The main duty would be to assist mom with our two-year-old charming and active son. We would like someone who can do at least 3 days a week full time or 5 days a week for just the mornings. We would also like someone who could babysit occasionally during prearranged evenings when my husband and I plan to have dinner out.

Preferably, we need someone who can commence the job immediately on a part-time basis to familiarize with our family dynamics, and increase the hours come July for the remainder of the summer.

The role includes light housework, preparing meals for our son, doing his laundry, and keeping the kitchen / living area tidy. We need someone available for around 15 to 30 hours a week, from Monday to Friday but are flexible with how these hours are spread throughout the week. We would like to have a consistent schedule.

This position is ideal for someone taking a break from school over the summer holidays or working towards a degree or certification in Teaching or Early Childhood Education (ECE) as our little one will be joining full-time school in September.

Familiarity or fluency in French would be a great bonus as we are planning to immerse our son into French. Our ideal candidate will also be comfortable with pets as we have two very friendly cats.
